Happy Cancer-versary to me! Today marks the one year day since I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, and I got a wonderful gift! Today my friends announced an event to help financially and emotionally support me through the Bone Marrow transplant I now require to survive. I am so blown away and overwhelmed with gratitude I barely even know what to say.

I am going to the benefit on Sunday and am very impressed at all the outpour of support you and your family are experiencing. You all deserve this because of the people you have become. Sometimes it feels like I have no idea what I’m even doing, so I just keep taking it a day, or even hour at a time. The support is overwhelming and has definitely been a wonderful boost.
